In the timeshare industry there are a variety of jobs, which include sales, marketing, and OPC’s (Off Premises Contact/Outside Public Contact). The VLOs (Verification Loan Officers) division is one of the most valuable and important jobs. The VLO’s interact with clients every day.

Job Description

The VLO’s  job is perhaps one of the most important jobs within a reputable timeshare company like Club Caribe, because you will be protecting new members and helping them understand the concept of how their timeshare contract works. Once a client has said yes, then the VLOs will meet with the client to go over the benefits and contract thoroughly.

Working on Behalf of the timeshare provider

At the same time as supporting new members, the Verification Loan Officers protect the interests of the timeshare provider, making sure that both parties are happy with the conditions of the contract. The VLO must make sure that all timeshare members understand exactly that their membership benefits offers, therefore each VLO must demonstrate honesty and people skills while paying close attention to details. 

Fully Trained

The sales team and the VLOs work together as the two teams are the first contact for any member. The client can ask the VLOs questions before signing their contract. The VLOs are fully trained to know every section of the contracts and membership inside and out.

VLO Employment Opportunities

Verification Loan Officers positions don’t open up very often, because this position is sought out by a lot of people that work in the timeshare industry. Most VLOs are promoted from within the team, therefore, if being a VLO is your goal, starting as an OPC or Sales Executive is a good start.
